Mr. Dixon-

I just wanted to say that I picked up "Berlin Abbozzi" and I have to say that this recording has lived up to all my expectations. When I listen to your music, I expect to be challenged, engaged, and transfixed-this recording does not dissapoint in the least.

I think of your work as being in the great tradition of artists like Jackson Pollack, William Gaddis, Caetano Veloso, Cecil Taylor-people who feel that any creative gift has to be, above all, individual, honest, and compelling. Thank you for constantly striving for honesty and challenging yourself.

I noticed that "Berlin Abbozzi" is a concert recording (or at least performed with an audience present)-are there any plans for you to come out to the West Coast? I've admired your work for a long time, and I would love to hear you if you ever do make it out to Los Angeles.
